Asa Lead Test Engineer, you will use your automation control system domainknowledge in validating our next generation Automation Controller product lines.
Workin small, self-motivated teams collaborating with Product Owner to translatecustomer needs into Internet-enabled products and infrastructure
Beinvolved in all phases of system test development from product definition toproduction release
DevelopTest Strategy and derive Test Requirements from Product & Systemspecifications
Designoptimal Test Systems and Automated Test Fixtures for ensuring adequate Testcoverage
UseAgile software development practices to build and test products usingContinuous Integration in a continuous delivery mode-
Breakdown problems and estimate time for development tasks, story points etc.
Useyour strong knowledge in PLC Ladder logic, Ethernet based Industrial protocols-IEC61850, DNP3, IEC104 etc., Automation scripts in developing system leveltests.
Maketechnical presentations to peers and managers on the details of architecture, design,Technical risks etc.
Useexcellent communication skills to interface with Technical architects oncomplex technical issues
Bachelor’sDegree in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering
Experiencewith GE’s Programmable Logic Controllers-PLCs, Ladder logic programming for GEPLCs
Demonstratedexperience with Test Fixture development and associated tools for IEDs andknow-how on substation and associated terminology.
Knowledgeof at least one Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery Software (Jenkins,Bamboo, Cruise Control, Electric Commander etc.)
Knowledgeof Industrial ethernet based network and topologies.
Demonstratedability to deliver on innovative ideas for products and processes
