What You’ll Do :
Manage the Michael Kors Global Brand finance coordination, reporting and analysis
Strategic thought partner serving as the right-hand to supporting the DVP, Financial Planning & Analysis in his support of the Michael Kors brand and Investor Relations
Establish and maintain strong global business partnerships and cross-functional relationships on alignment of financial goals and performance.
Align strategic initiatives to long range operational plans.
Support essential decisions through ad-hoc analyses (e.g. departmental P&Ls, magnitude and timing of infrastructure investment)
Partner with both the Head of Strategy and Investor Relations to ensure alignment of goals on various presentations and key external metrics
Supervise and manage NA Wholesale business with one direct report and 4 analystsOversee the monthly Wholesale close, forecasting process and annual budgeting processVarious ad hoc analyses and projectsDevelop, coach, and mentor team to drive talent and establish trusted partnerships with the business
Drive the budget, forecast, long-range plan and month-end close processes for the divisions
Responsible for financial reporting including quarterly reviews with executive management team and detailed monthly reviews with divisional leadership teams
Support Corporate investor relations functions by providing reporting and analysis for quarterly filings and earnings release preparation
Maintain SOX compliance for the department
You’ll Need to Have :
10+ years of experience in planning, analysis and financial management
Retail / Wholesale, international and public company experience
Strong quantitative, analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Project management skills, from initial idea through execution
Experience with Hyperion Planning
