Description :

  • Minimum qualification is a Bachelor degree in Engineering.
  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering would be preferable. Other disciplines of engineering are also acceptable, excluding Computer Science and IT.
  • Technical ability should be good as the job involves selection of products based on customer specifications.
  • Best in class- Communication skills (both written and spoken) are mandatory. Candidates with moderate communication skills - please excuse!
  • The image that is presented should be good and in line with the reputation of the brand as should be apparent from the way the candidate is dressed etc.
  • Some prior experience (minimum 3 years) in Industrial B2B sales as a Sales Engineer or Sr. Sales Engineer is mandatory.
  • Position currently based at Chennai but mobility is required and hence the engineer may be based at any of our branches in future.
  • Candidates should live nearby the office (max 45 minutes time to reach work). If not located nearby, they should be ready to move so commuting time to the office is not more than 45 minutes.
  • The Job Role shall include meeting or exceeding annual Sales Revenues and Key result Areas for the assigned territory. A major part of the job would involve Business Development and targeting revenues from new customers and markets.
  • Therefore, good technical understanding of the products and applications are essential. In addition developing customer relationships and maintaining existing relationships are very crucial.

    Keeping abreast with product knowledge, educating customers about product attributes, resolving technical issues, evolving innovative solutions for customer technical issues are the other aspects of the job.
