OperationsSupport Analyst II
Providefirst line operational support, resource management, workload scheduling, andproblem support in primarily AWS Cloud environment.
Unix / Linux backgrounda plus. Some mainframe experience helpful. Provide technicalexpertise for internal projects that drive increased overall productivity andpromote automation.
Managessystem resources for executing internal client workloads and partnering withInternal and External Business Unit Support Teams with recommendations tomaximize throughput and resolve issues.
Demonstratestrong oral and written communications skills.
Providesingle point-of-contact interface for Development, Global Tech Services, andtroubleshooting of production and system applications.
Manageworkloads and file builds including execution, thru-put optimization, andproblem management.
Assistsin the development and implementation of operational production processes andprocedures.
Maylead projects and provide direction to lesser experienced staff members.
Mayparticipate and provide input to user application testing and operationalacceptance.
Scheduleand manage system maintenance, downtimes and large file transmissions.
StrongAWS / cloud system operations skills
CertifiedSysOps AWS or Cloud platform a plus
Manage resource availability and consumption in AWS accountusing tools such as Amazon CloudWatch, tagging, and Trusted Advisor
Unixand Linux operation admin skills
Misc.Cloud experience desirable
