Capgemini’sExpert Connect is a B2B social media program which focuses onexpert conversations. It is an exciting part of our global digitalstrategy and we need someone with the passion and drive to work onthis path-

breaking program in the social media space, connectingcontent, campaigns, experts and communities.

Youwill be part of the global Marketing and Creative Servicesorganization (MACS). MACS is the group-wide marketing andcommunications shared services organization providing servicesranging from design, content and web to account-

based marketing,pursuit marketing, program management and global campaignsupport.

Specification,Skills, Role andResponsibilities

Theideal candidate must have extensive social media experience. Thismeans the person is actively participating in a wide variety ofsocial media activities across a number of social media platformscovering community development and management, social bookmarking,commenting, etc.

and is well-connected with the broader socialmedia world.

The role of the has three mainobjectives :

1. Develop the profile of individualson the Expert Connect Programme

2. Leverage theexperts’ profiles to support business / campaignobjectives

3. Support execution of digitalmarketingcampaigns.

1.Develop the profile of individuals on the Expert ConnectProgram

Work closely with your setof Experts on the Expert Connect program to execute strategies todrive their thought leadership and to help position them asInfluencers on Social Media in their chosenarea.

This will be done via a mix of curatedcontent for them to share along with sharing of their own content.Your actions will facilitate conversations across relevant channelsand platforms thereby building theprogram.

  • Work with experts tounderstand their objectives and apply social media best practicesto drive tangible outcomes
  • On board experts,create their profiles, train them on process and supportingtechnology.
  • Ensure all expert social, andwebsite profiles are setup, optimized, promoted andmanaged
  • Publish Experts’ blogs, managing thepublishing process, ensuring appropriateapprovals
  • Regular interaction with the expertsand 1 : 1 catch-ups
  • Curate3rd party content relevant to Expert’s areasof expertise for them to share in their social channels on anongoing basis
  • Work with Social Listeningpractice to identify relevant influencers for the Experts tofollow, and relevant topics on which tocomment.
  • Review activity metrics and follow-upwith Experts on potential business-relatedconversations.
  • Produce monthly communication toyour groups of Experts with performance highlights and futureplans.
  • 2. Leverage the experts’ profiles to supportbusiness / campaignobjectives

  • You willalso work closely with Digital Marketers on campaigns, working withrelevant Experts to create content in support ofcampaigns
  • Curate relevant third-party contentin the run-up to campaigns.
  • Be partof core planning team for campaignsParticipatein regular calls to contribute to campaigns and leverageexpertsMobilize experts as required to supportcampaigns
  • 3. Support execution of digital marketingcampaigns.

  • Take contentproduced by Social Content Studio and shape into a social mediaplan for approval by Digital Marketer
  • CreateUTMs and schedule messages in publishingplatforms
  • Co-ordinate recording ofpodcasts
  • Measurement

    Therole’s success will be measured through KPIs basedaround :

  • Managing relationship withexperts
  • Contribution to campaignobjectives
  • Development of knowledge in relevantexpert themes
  • Curation of qualitycontent
  • Output of experts quantity andquality
  • Contribution to programinitiatives
  • PrimarySkills (Must have)

  • 4 -7 years social media marketing experience with a Tier 1 IT Servicesorganization, where social media should have been a core role.
  • Orexperience in social media in other industries like media, agenciesor Fortune 500 companies (in which case technology should be aninterest area or a passion).

  • Experience inworking in a global environment
  • Experience inworking with senior levelpeople
  • Demonstrated creativity anddocumented immersion in social media (you will be asked to sharethe links to your own accounts)
