Position Purpose :

Direct team management, via demonstration of strong leadership and role modelling skills in the Hyderabad PLS OSP Techops function to deliver services in the area of Supply Operations group to include all elements of master data management, governance and other supply chain services.

Management of resources, delivery, quality processes, customer satisfaction, issue resolution, work flow process, people management and partnership with local support functions.

TL is also responsible for developing functional experts and operational leads at Hyderabad in accordance with Novartis people development requirements and Novartis Values and Behaviors

Major Accountabilities :

Manage end-to-end master data services across supply chain. Lead a team of master data experts to deliver the implementation of master data services

  • Efficient and high quality handling of Global Master Data related tasks in compliance with established processes to build and maintain a global enterprise data structure
  • Support delivery of the Global Master Data process improvement projects
  • Develop & formalize proactive master data integrity checks to ensure high quality deliverables
  • Establish, monitor and report KPIs & take proactive action for improvements on C-Sat and other feedback mechanism. Manage the Service Level Agreements with various customer stakeholder groups.
  • Ensure exemplary communication with all stakeholders including internal associates through regular updates with focus on accomplishments, KPIs, best practices, staffing changes, key events, etc.
  • Identify and resolves operational issues, clearly articulate potential recommendations / solutions to all stakeholders.
  • Be proactive in planning; anticipating change and acting in accordance; drive meticulous implementation of team goals and metrics.
  • Collaborate with the Group leader / Function Head and other locations to support and ensure the flexible coordination of activities to deliver according to expectations (time and quality).
  • Performance management with constructive feedback and focus on talent development. Conduct performance appraisal, Groom and develop talent, implements succession planning and mentor associates for higher responsibilities.
  • Ensure adherence to the established quality processes, which includes 100 % compliant to training completion for self and associates, proactive CAPA updation and preparation for audit
  • Drive innovation and entrepreneurial mind set to ensure team members are fully stimulated, challenged and engaged on delivering high quality work
  • Provide guidance and sets standards of functional excellence in methodologies, processes and SOPs to enable enhancement of Master data services
  • Minimum requirements Bachelor / Master’s degree in supply management, or related field English

  • Master data concept knowledge & master data application setup
  • Good knowledge of GxP / GMP environment
  • Overall 12+ years of experience in the area of supply chain, master data management, order management, logistics, project management with a leading pharma / manufacturing / service provider
  • Ability to work with data and creating meaningful insights which include KPIS’s, resource utilization, and others
  • Understanding complexity of working in an off-shored environment
  • Experience in transition & transformation projects
  • Strong program management skills in cross functional projects
  • Familiarity with process set-up, quality KPIs and operational issues / management
  • Strong capabilities in reporting & operations management
