  • Process Overview :

    The FAKC (Finance and Accounting Knowledge Center) was set up in 2007 as a part of the CFO Global Delivery strategy to provide offshore delivery to Line of Business and Enterprise Finance functions.

    The capabilities hosted include Accounts Payable, General Accounting & Reconciliations, Management Reporting & Analysis, Research & Analytics, Financial Transaction Processing, Finance Systems Support and Global Procurement.

    Over the years, the scope of FAKC has been expanded to include operations for other enterprise control functions like Human Resources and Risk and Compliance.

    Job Description :

    The candidate will work in the Global Procurement function and be responsible for maintaining data quality, UNSPSC / NAICS to Category mapping for Ariba and Reporting.

    This is done through correct categorization of vendors’ product / services thereby determining the risk associated with the engagement.

    The candidate will also be responsible for reporting management Routines. Role requires the analyst to work closely with diverse teams in order to source accurate data / information.

    Responsibilities :

  • The candidate will support the data quality team for Global Procurement and recommend solutions to complex business problems through in-
  • depth knowledge of procurement data / functions.

  • The candidate should have good understanding of data sets, identify data quality issues and understand calculations therein.
  • Will be involved in providing insights based on large sets of data, build credibility and maintain communication with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Requirements :

    Candidate should have the ability to understand data and how it moves between systems. Generate Subject Matter Expertise about Spend Channels and how the spend gets moves from one system to another

  • Education - Masters Degree / MCA / MBA
  • Certifications If Any
  • Experience Range* - 8 + years
  • Mandatory skills :

  • Ability to understand data and how it moves between systems
  • Ability to research invoices and external sites to identify the appropriate Category
  • Deep understanding of UNSPC / NAICS codes
  • Hands on experience in advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint including formulae, macros, pivots, dashboards
  • Ability to collate and present disparate data and generate meaningful insights
  • Ability to manage and track progress of various projects, highlighting and managing constraints
  • Good written and verbal communication as well as ability to quickly comprehend requirements
  • Ability to collaborate with people inside and outside the organization across levels
  • Desired skills :

  • The candidate must have strong understanding of Global Procurement spend categories and underlying data sets
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Work Timings - 11 : 30 am to 8 : 30 pm (IST)
