  • Responsible for estimating part and tooling costs based on Xerox-Global Purchasing costing global methodology.
  • Support Product Teardown activity of various A4 and A3 Xerox and equivalent OEM mono and colour MFP products and accessories / Finishers.
  • Prepare comparisons between product cost estimations, current buying costs and quotations including analysis of Benchmarking / (BOB) Best of Breed data.
  • Support cost effective procurement to Xerox requirements at geographic benchmark costs from key suppliers through product cost engineering and cost down activities.
  • Prepare Quote to Estimate analysis (Q2E), Analyze supplier quotations for manufacturing process and material cost breakdowns helping Buying team.
  • Update cost database to achieve benchmark cost for manufacturing processes used for Mechanical, electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Support buyers during CSI (Continuous Supplier Involvement) and DFM (Design for manufacturing) meetings.

    Candidate Education :

  • Possess an Engineering Bachelor Degree with minimum 7-9 years of relevant working experience. Diploma with Minimum 10-12 years of experience also considered.
  • Experience in cost estimation of Mechanical Parts is essential. It includes plastic moulded, metal, sheet-metal, steel shaft, rubber, Mechatronic assly, and all types tooling.
  • Experience in cost estimation of Electronics, Electrical, and Electro-Mechanical parts is advantageous.

  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes utilized in Mechanical commodities is essential.
  • Willing to travel to other Xerox facilities and supplier locations (short visits and short-term assignments).
  • Possesses Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Candidate Background :

    Minimum Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

    Minimum Demonstrated analytical skills required

    Minimum Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint

    Minimum Team work skills are critical, along with being able to manage multiple tasks and deliver results on-time

    Minimum Strong time management and organizational skills a must

    Minimum Ability to communicate across multiple levels of management and business partners,
