A candidate must

  • have a good understanding of fluid dynamics / aerodynamics / Heat transfer fundamentals
  • be skilled in computational fluid-dynamics (CFD) using commercially available tools
  • have expertise in under-hood and / or external aerodynamics evaluations and related design recommendations
  • have excellent oral / written / graphic communication skills
  • Added advantage-

  • Specific automotive experience is preferred but not a prerequisite. STARCCM+ preferred
  • a good understanding of theoretical or experimental fluid dynamics / heat transfer
  • a good understanding of numerical optimization techniques and automation tools
  • Preferred

  • Skilled in Star-CCM+ and ANSA
  • 1D GT Suite experience
  • Scripting knowledge
  • Job Responsibilities

  • Design and development support for under-hood thermal management through simulation-aided design
  • Execute under-hood thermal management and / or full vehicle aerodynamics modeling and simulations
  • Analyze / interpret simulation results; evaluate specific thermal effects on components as well as on full vehicle; provide counter measures as and when needed
  • Develop methodologies to support the digitalization and reducing the physical tests.
  • Interact with globally distributed technical teams
  • Project planning and timelines of the assigned task
  • Fulfillment of all applicable guidelines, regulations, and compliance measures
  • A candidate should

  • have a good understanding of fluid dynamics / aerodynamics / Heat transfer fundamentals
