Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for production application support working closely with Global internal teams and external partners, as necessary
  • Web App & Mobile App Support
  • Log Analysis ( Ex : Code Log, Access Log, Server Log)
  • 24x7 production queue management and support
  • Monitor alerts Dynatrace, TeaLeaf, AppDynamics, Splunk
  • Runtime incident calls
  • Reports, SQL queries execution for business and engineering teams, PII and PCI DSS adhered
  • Coordination >
  • 30 External partner application to be supported, end-to-end

  • Production Deployment smoke test
  • Production Run-book and RCA updates
  • Ready to work in Night shift ( Rotational basis) Job description :
  • Experience of having done application support for banking applications and supported any one international banking domain product (any one of Core Banking, Payment systems, Information Reporting Systems, Online Banking Applications, Mobile Banking Apps, customer onboarding, etc)
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with Strong interpersonal, facilitation skills along with effective communication (both written and verbal) skills.
  • Excellent PL / SQL skills ability to write complex queries, utility functions in Oracle PL / SQL
  • Knowledge of any one scripting language (Windows shell, Unix bash scripting, Powershell or Perl)
  • Good debugging and troubleshooting skills ability to scan through log files, zero in on technical exceptions, chain exception from multiple application log files to understand root cause
  • Knowledge and experience of working with any monitoring tools like tea leaf, dynatrace, app dynamics etc
  • Flexibility responsibilities involve working in shifts or working extended hours during incidents and deployments
  • Knowledge and experience of working with any one ticketing tool (JIRA, ALM, SNOW, Remedy) Desirable :
  • Knowledge of J2EE application structure WAR, EAR etc is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of banking format files (MT 940, MT 101, NACHA etc)
  • Coding experience is added advantage (No coding)
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Knowledge of Networks, Messaging Applications, DW Applications, Enterprise Schedulers, Batch Schedulers etc is an added advantage
  • SOA Service Oriented Architecture Tools used ( Ex : Tibco, Oracle), EndPoint Integration, Web Services,
  • Requires experience in supporting enterprise-class, mission-critical production systems.
  • Experience working with a variety of Applications Servers and Databases (Primarily Tomcat and Oracle).
