Set up in 2020, GEB GCC primarily focuses on technology, analytics and shared business services. Teams provide support for data governance, customer care, e-commerce, infrastructure, corporate systems that support numerous functions such as merchandising, supply chain, distribution, digital, corporate services.

Job Title : Pricebook Administrator
Location : Bangalore
Reporting to : Team Manager
Essential Responsibilities
Act as a gatekeeper for incoming data to the master item file. Add new items via electronic import or manual entry. Adhere to consistent formatting standards for item attributes in price book system (e.
g., description, product hierarchy, size, brand name) and make updates as needed. Help document style guides used by the broader team
Import vendors electronic store invoices into the system. Research discrepancies with item cost, product authorizations, and quantities received.
Work with Merchandising, Accounting, and vendors to resolve
Execute retail pricing strategies developed by Merchandising. Set margin rules, enter specified prices, and manage temporary price reductions and other promotion events.
Develop an understanding of state minimum and other contractual pricing rules for tobacco and beer / wine items
Maintain store traits, product attributes, and item authorizations
Create reports and distribute as needed
Research, resolve, and communicate the resolution of pricing issues reported by stores
Perform other duties assigned by the Pricebook Manager
Collaborate with US counterpart team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
Maintain documentation of best practices for all processes
Continually look for process improvement on workflows and designs?
Essential Skillsets / Technologies
Bachelors degree with a 2+ work experience in retail in an office environment especially data quality, accounting or data analysis
Must have excellent communication & customer service skills and project a positive attitude
Able to work independently with consistent follow-up on tasks
Possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent computer skills including file organization structures, web reporting applications, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (using sort, filters, VLOOKUP, SUM, AVERAGE, etc)
Basic math skills
Experience with PDI software or similar ERP solution is a big plus
Experience working in retail or in an office environment especially data quality, accounting, or data analysis
