The ESG Data Research Team
We drive Arabesque S-Ray's data research and are responsible for investigating and assessing core ESG risks + opportunities faced by companies in the Arabesque S-Ray rating universe.
We are looking for new passionate, competent, and technically skilled team members who like to work in a collaborative environment to innovate, advance, and contribute to the development of the S-Ray® technology.
You will be part of the global ESG Research Team and work on a wide variety of projects with a focus on ESG, climate, corporate governance, and sustainability data.
In this, your main responsibility will be evaluating ESG performance, controversies and product involvement of publicly traded companies globally.

We are looking to hire new Senior Associate Climate Change with experience in ESG, Climate change, carbon footprint and sustainability data to join our team and contribute to Arabesque’s global growth.
You will be responsible and accountable for contributing to grow Arabesque S-Ray’s data products and for ensuring high content quality.
You Are Expected To
develop expertise in sourcing Climate change data
collect data for companies across multiple sectors from Annual Reports, CSR Report, Proxy Statement, Bylaws etc.
evaluate controversies and product involvement of publicly traded companies globally
maintain our high data quality standards with regular ESG data quality checks
develop market standards required for Climate research
We Are Keen To Hire Professionals Who
have 4-7 years’ experience in Climate research, think tanks focused sustainability, or academic research institutes
Experience in managing teams is a must
Knowledge on market regulations, proxy voting, board structure and compensation structures
have a strong interest in ESG trends and specific knowledge about the dominant ESG issues for selected industries
understand the reasoning behind integrating sustainability information into decision making processes
are familiar with articulating analytical viewpoints and work with attention to detail
possess a good command of the English language speaking and writing
are not afraid of new empirical challenges and learning a new area of expertise
possess excellent knowledge of the MS Office Suite, particularly MS Excel
are motivated and passionate about sustainable finance and climate investing
