The Director Human Resources, Bangalore, will cultivate and maintain a people strategy that engages our people and manages the unique needs of a global service oriented business.
This position will partner with the senior leadership team and be a part of the leadership council in strategic decision-making.
This role reports into the global HR team and is key to the balance of integrating the global structure and maintaining a Bangalore focus.
Be a true partner to the leadership team in workforce planning, analysis and creating an office culture of equity, inclusion, and diversity that attracts, supports, and retains talent.
Understand the business, goals, and challenges in order to identify and address issues and opportunities building a successful workforce.
Drive the unity of the overall administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resource f unction with dual reporting for certain roles to global teams.
Strategically guide the Talent Acquisition team to increase employer branding, uncover new talent pools and partner directly with the business.
Partner with global HR leads and legal.
Maintain the necessary level of business and financial understanding of the company’s financials, culture, and market competitors.
Coach business directors / people managers on performance management, employee relations, and mentorship.
Manage and develop the HR team.
Provide direction and support for local compensation, benefits, wellness, and HRIS initiatives.
Ensure legal and statutory compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource law and policy requirements.
Ensure effective communication of policies, procedures and practices; accuracy of information reported; and resolution of issues and inquiries.
Manage and regularly engage hybrid or permanently remote team members.
Develop strategies and actions to increase employee engagement and commitment.
Create and implement a people development strategy that meets current and future needs of the business that helps motivate and retain key talent.
Build greater consistency in how performance is managed across the business
Develop pathways to support employee growth.
Ensure effective and timely internal communication throughout the business.
Be the guardian of Deluxe values making sure that they are engrained in the business
Support the awareness of the Deluxe employer brand externally as well as internally
Any ad hoc project work as required.
HR platforms : Workday, Jira, LinkedIn Learning
12+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on HR Ops and BP management.
Ability to stay on top of the changes in various labor laws and shifts in government guidelines to keep employees safe.
Experience leading a HR team for a 24X7 business operation.
Experience leading the HR f unction for an organization over 1,500 people.
Ability to maintain focus and composure under high volume pressure.
Proven ability to understand the business and drive effective change to meet the business challenges.
Proven success managing multiple projects and / or systems implementations.
Possesses a strong results-oriented drive and well organized.
