The Role : Manager, 17g7 Team

The Location : US-Virtual, London, Mumbai, Maharashtra

The Team / Business :

The 17g-7 Manager as part of the S&P Global 17g-7 IBCO Group will support the Ratings line of Business within the In Business Control Group.

The Impact :

This role is critical to ensuring that our business standards are met. As the 17g-7 Manager, you will be managing, maintaining, and improving existing talent and processes to ensure the delivery of the highest quality disclosure reports in line with our regulatory commitments.

In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan. This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

What are we looking for :

The successful candidate will be someone that can work under tight deadlines while maintaining quality and excellence in their work and adhering to established procedures.

The ideal candidate will also have experience with reviewing financial and legal contracts.

Responsibilities :

Lead and develop an energetic team of Operation Specialists and CRISIL IBC.

Be the In Business Control Department’s SME for all things 17g-7(N).

Support the establishment and / or enhancement of policies and procedures relevant to the 17g-7(N) rule.

Maintains adherence to strict deadlines.

Maintains related records and files following internal procedures.

Provides other ad hoc data requests for leadership or the business units.

Providing support on other ad-hoc projects.

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or Economics preferred.

Regulatory / Risk Assessment experience.

3-4 years of work experience in related fields.

Basic understanding of data analysis.

Experience with financial legal documents a plus.

Maintain and set up the management of effective governance for operational risk in relation to 17g-7(N) disclosure reporting.

Ability to work independently, at pace, think strategically and proven diagnostic ability in complex environments are critical

Strong understanding of financial markets and their relationship to S&P Global products

Problem-solving skills informed by deep and varied experience in forging solutions.

Excellent communication (written and oral), interpersonal and organizational skills.

Ability to work well within the context of a team

Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point).

Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, projects, resources, and deadlines in a rapidly changing environment.

Confidence and ability to deal with a range of senior stakeholders

Diligent and intellectually curious self-starter with a strong work ethic and a drive to succeed.
