About the Team :
The Optimization Analyst team is part of the Verizon Media Optimization Strategy organization. We develop, optimize & analyse reporting on ad creatives for advertisers running Native campaigns on our Native platform to achieve team’s revenue goals.

About the Role :
Optimization Analysts are specialists when it comes to the two key aspects of Native advertising - optimization & reporting.
Being a strategic centric team whose true north is advertiser ROI, an OA continually deploys strategic optimization efforts to up the performance of the advertiser(s) on Native.
This involves creating and testing effective ad copy and images, selecting the right targeting levers, setting the right performance parameters and targeting the right audiences.
He / she then leverages in-house & 3rd-party reporting to scrutinize the performance & output of the applied strategy that then helps us up the ante, thereby creating a win-
win for the client & Verizon Media.
Along with our Account Strategists & Account Managers, Optimization Analysts are individual contributors who act as a key resource for Verizon Media’s most valuable advertisers in planning and implementing their digital marketing campaigns.

Work with the Account Strategist to identify & prioritize opportunities for improved campaign performance & growth across Verizon Media’s highest value Native accounts
Work with the Account Manager to Understand client ROI / CPA / ROAS goals, objectives & data, media buying cycles, marketing philosophy, target demographics, etc
Leverage the aforementioned knowledge & in-house tools to generate a performance story for the Native campaigns & identify areas of optimizations to maintain account health
Partner closely with the Account Strategist, Account Manager & other internal team members to provide best-in-class service to clients
Participate in ad-hoc projects including development of best practices, new analytical techniques and industry-specific insights
Define problems in a simple, clear manner & apply critical thinking skills to arrive at solutions for the varied nature of client requests
Generate creative ideas & challenge the status quo while encouraging innovation in others.
Must be a Graduate with a University Degree
Work experience : 1-3 years
Excellent verbal & written communication skills with an ability to think on your feet & in tune with the American vernacular
Fluent in Advanced Excel with proven examples of how they were leveraged this to solve for complex problems & bring in efficiencies
Proficiency with other Microsoft Office products - PowerPoint & Word
Good understanding of Digital Marketing (including Native) & best practice campaign management, and a drive to stay up-to-
date on cutting edge industry trends.
Working knowledge of ad campaign management best practices.
Ability to write Ad copy in a way that translates client marketing objectives into highly effective, error-free ads.
