Lead System Design Engineer
The Role :
As part of AMD's Debug Tools group, we are looking for a senior member in our team who has a mix of hardware and software development experience.
Debug Tools team develops software which interacts and heavily rely on the AMD platforms and mother boards. This person will technically manage some modules of the Debug Tools which requires knowledge of on embedded systems starting from schematics, layout, design, system signal debug and bring up.
Person should be also looking after software and hardware modules. A technical project management experience would be an added advantage.
The Person :
The ideal candidate is a Motivated teammate who is hardworking about technologies and gadgets. Candidate should be willing to work in small / large teams and phenomenal interpersonal skills.
We are looking for a self-starter, able to achieve successful outcomes in a non-hierarchical environment. Detailed oriented with ability to multitask through planning / organizing.
Person having the technical project management flavor would be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities :
The engineer is expected to lead some of the hardware development and get involved into Schematic, layout, mechanical and thermal design.
The engineer is also required to design and implement embedded CPU and FPGA firmware related to Debug domain. He / She will also write software code in C / C++ or C# / .
NET which will interact with these HW modules and develop new debug tools. The person will also work on the bring up of these boards.
Lead some of the modules(s), co-ordinate with various stakeholders and project manage the module.
