Build tools on Python for Operation processes to improve quality, bring efficiency which become best practices. Independently write custom Python and SQL code.
Well versed with technology like Machine Learning & OCR
Learn and become an expert in Nielsen Connect operations and processes knowledge, with a focus on automation, computations, and enhanced methodologies.
Contribute to create new solutions use cases, proof of concept and prototypes by exploring diverse data sets using open source tools.
Automate and develop solutions for existing processes.
Document the enhancements, new methodologies applied locally and impact on the data
Work with cross-functional teams to implement and validate enhanced automation methodologies.
Collaboratively create and manage projects from beginning to end; including developing analytical plan, running analyses, and summarizing results while effectively managing expectations with key stakeholders.
Work with Agility and speed to manage multiple projects and various stakeholders sitting across multiple locations
Provide oversight and consultation to Operation executives across various functions.
Explain and communicate complex technical solutions to non-subject matter experts (non-SMEs) and the marketplace to address clients' business problems.
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Social Science, Operation Research, Mathematics, or Computer Science with outstanding analytical expertise. (Mandatory)
Master’s degree in Statistics, Social Science, Operation Research, Mathematics, or Computer Science. (Good to have)
Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience with Python programming & one or more of the following : HTML programming , data integration, market research, trend or pattern recognition, statistics, automation, or quality assurance.
Must be proficient with Python / Spark to develop sharable software with the appropriate technical documentation.
Pro-actively gather information, as needed, to work independently as well as in a team environment
Excellent clear and concise communications skills and have proactive communication with internal / external teams including presentation skills for business setting and technical report writing
Intellectual curiosity and persistence to find answers to questions.
Eager to continuously learn and adapt to changing technologies and tools.
Good command of written and spoken English.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to effectively influence, negotiate and communicate within and across various levels in the organization
Able to work independently and in a team
