The primary focus of a Sales Consultant (Pre-sales) is to become an expert in a core set of Oracle products and solutions and to present the value proposition and benefits of our solutions to our partners, prospects and customers and internally to our sales force

As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision, through on-line / in person sales efforts.

Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Internet Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations.

Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.

Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships. Support sales team in online / in-person selling efforts with minimal supervision.

Develop and deliver proposed solution to customers. Approximate percentage of face to face interaction with customers to perform responsibilities is 10%

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience.

5 years relevant computer applications or database / tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system.

Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills : needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques.

Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed.

BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.,

This vacancy is for a highly talented individual to join Oracle s JAPAC Applications Sales Consulting Centers, delivering Pre-Sales services to customers via video, telephone and interactive digital tools.

The main responsibility of the Application Sales Consultant is to secure Oracle solution selection through a preeminent engagement with our customers.

They will assist Sales Representatives, Sales Consultants and Partners to drive the sales of Oracle On-premise offerings (CX, HCM and ERP / SCM / EPM) across ASEAN, ANZ and Hong Kong.

You will get to work with our Customers to address their business requirements by deploying best in class Oracle Cloud solutions.

Supporting sales opportunities in various industries and countries, you will get an excellent insight into customer business needs and market trends.

Technology and role training will prepare you for supporting our Customers and Sales Representatives.

  • Collaborate on Customer opportunities with Oracle Sales, Pre-Sales and Product Management communities.
  • To fulfill the role of Sales Consultant we are looking for outstanding individuals that meet the following profile :

    Technology Skills :

  • Strong understanding of one of the following 3 areas :
  • Sales, Marketing and Service market trends
  • Financials, Supply Chain and Enterprise Performance Management concepts
  • Working experience around workforce management, talent acquisition and retention
  • Bachelors or Master s degree.
  • Knowledge of Industry leading Application solutions; working knowledge would be an advantage.
  • Business skills :

  • Experience in back office operations of an enterprise / business such as procurement, contracts, financials, talent management etc.
  • Experience in front office operations of an enterprise / business such as sales, marketing and customer service
  • Ability to understand Customer s business requirements and compelling needs.
  • Self-motivated, you have the natural drive to learn and pick up new challenges
  • Agile and happy to continually adapt to change.
  • Always looking to raise the bar of own skills / competencies development.
  • Most important is an eagerness to learn Oracle has an incredible portfolio of industry leading products. You will be motivated by learning new technologies and how they can be applied to compelling solutions for our customers.
  • Customer Engagement Skills :

  • Work experience in a similar role is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to articulate messages very clearly. You are a storyteller.

  • Ability to work in (virtual) teams. To get a specific job done may require working together with many colleagues, partners and customers.
