We utilize analytical rigor and large data sets for informed methodologies we develop. Our research encompasses variety of data sets across Operations Analytics (People, Sales & Marketing, Investor) and Financial Analytics.
The Role : As a Software Engineer, you will design, implement, and maintain the systems powering our statistical software applications and data products.
This role requires significant interaction with both upstream and downstream stakeholders across Technology, Data, Products, Sales / Service, and Research.
The Software Engineer will work closely with developers and analysts to create software solutions that are reliable and fast.

This position reports to Manager of Quantitative Research team.
Design, implement, and maintain the systems that support variety of quantitative research projects across business domains.
Interact with developers and analysts to ensure data needs are met for research projects and applications.
Automate workflows to extract, transform, and load data from disparate data sources using Python packages like Pandas, numpy, Matplot etc.
Analyze performance issues in the database layer and assist with performance tuning.
Ensure quality of technical and application architecture and design of systems across the organization. Effectively research and benchmark technology against other best in class technologies.
Functional Skills Experience in Banking, Financial and Fintech experience in an enterprise environment preferred Experience in following best Coding, Security, Unit testing and Documentation standards and practices Experience in Agile methodology
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in designing and managing large-scale database systems
Experience of SQL, Python is must. Extensive coding experience with Python (3.6 and above)
BS degree in engineering, computer science.
Working knowledge of AWS Data Engineering tools like Athena, Glue, EMR, DynamoDB is preferred.
Exposure with Agile software engineering practices.
Experience with the Hadoop stack is preferred (SQOOP, HDFS, Hive, Spark).
Experience with UNIX / Linux including basic commands and shell scripting.
