Group Property Business Partner

Bangalore / Delhi, India.

As a group property business partner for the defined geographical area (India) provide strategic and tactical leadership ensuring effective delivery of Group Property services and adherence to Group Property processes across the customer base.

Accountable for the delivery of Group Property services, including facilities management services, energy management services, projects, property management (rent, rates etc.

  • space and community issues relating to property.
  • Facilities Management

  • Ensure that the provision and delivery of facilities management and energy management services meets the requirements and expectations of the customer base ensuring that needs are met coordinating the physical workplace with the people and work of the organisation.
  • Provide support and leadership in the management of site emergencies.
  • Manage and assure health, safety and environmental compliance for the geographic area of accountability.
  • Manage and develop the defined facilities management and project delivery team.
  • Be the lead for defined service line specialisms.
  • Stakeholder (Business) Relationship Management

  • Liaise with stakeholder (Business) at the appropriate level and frequency to communicate performance and key issues including measuring customer satisfaction.
  • Partner Management

  • Interface with the space, property, major projects, compliance, business management and other teams as necessary to deliver the service, property strategy and departmental performance.
  • Develop a supply chain and maintain relationships with suppliers / partners related to Facilities Management.
  • Conducts regular reviews and improvement programs with suppliers."
  • Program Management

  • Implementing programs for facilities related services based on agreed service level agreements.
  • Managing facilities related service programs to ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are met and successes / failures are reported.
  • Managing small works and intermediate project processes.
  • Implementing a functional strategy across the site(s).
  • Monitoring partner and departmental performance and taking action as appropriate.
  • Experience of managing energy consumption of the site(s) with a customer base.
  • Finance Management

  • Establishing and managing an operational facilities management budget (both core service and non-core service) for the site(s).
  • Space and portfolio Planning

  • Conducting Occupancy studies and preparing supply v / s demand charts for space requirements for the site(s).
  • Planning and implementing solutions for covering short term and intermediate terms capacity shortfall.
  • Requirements

  • Detailed knowledge of all aspects of the Group Property scope.
  • Development and implementation of practices that promote and protect health, safety, security, quality of work life, the environment, organisational effectiveness and emergency preparedness.
  • Master planning process and asset strategy implementation.
  • Detailed understanding of facility services.
  • Operations. Acquisition, installation, maintenance and disposition of building systems, structures, fabric & exterior elements.
  • Planning and project management. Development of facility plans, performance managing supply chain through project milestones, to quality, cost & delivery.
  • Management of the Group Property financial processes.
  • Quality management & innovation. Demonstrate the quality of services and effectiveness are delivered through assurance programmes, to validate compliance.
  • Use of benchmarking processes, to drive continuous improvement.

  • Technology. Direction, planning and management of facility infrastructure & operational technologies and their interfaces.
  • Communication. Implementation of effective communication practices and culture.
  • A degree or equivalent in a property related subject
  • Member of a relevant professional body or institute
