The role holder is responsible for developing CM strategies and plans to beat the competition in on-trade market Intl Whisky or Beer & Others Context DIAGEO is a leading premium drinks company whose success is based on marketing and sales of its alcoholic beverage brands Customer Marketing will ensure that Diageo not only is consumer centric but is also shopper and customer insight driven which will ensure that Diageo can beat the competition at the point of purchase by influencing the shopper or consumer in the last ten yards of influence This is an additional position created as a part of our recent reorganization to bring more focus on Intl Whisky & Beer Customer Marketing strategy and execution Dimensions Leadership responsibility # of people reported None Reports to Intl Whisky & Beer On CM Manager, Korea Key Outputs Provide accurate consumer insight and clear understanding of market environment to the management team in setting up effective CM strategy and plans Lead customer marketing initiatives through effective communication with the sales team on the strategy and plans Explore other commercial opportunities in the market to see if DK capitalize them Develop category management & shopper marketing plans for on market based on penetrating shopper and customer insight Lead & own cycle planning process in order to ensure that the business across functions have clear priority in each quarter and that plans are executed seamlessly and flawlessly Manage the activity management process to ensure that all activity is developed on time and to standard.

Manage A&P & trade spend in an efficient & effective way Co-work with various stakeholders such as Marketing Brand team, Finance and Supply Qualifications Education and basic requirement University degree required Fluent in English MS Office General / Technical Skills Strategic thinking as well as ruthless focus on putting strategy into execution Excellent in communicating complex contents internally across the business as well as externally Project management Coordination Experience of generating great outcomes through others motivating and inspiring teams Experience Minimum 7 years business experience with some experience at consumer marketing or sales Commercial awareness with previous experience in customer facing roles in an FMCG environment ideally the liquor / drink industry Strategic consulting & category development experience Exposure to working in rapidly changing environments
