OVERVIEW :
Sumtotal is looking for a Senior Desktop Support Engineer, with at least 3 years of IT experience in a technology environment.
This position has global exposure and demands great communication skills, flexibility, proactive logistics, and efficiency.
The ideal candidate is Tech Savvy, self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing their workload and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced technological environment.
OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS :
Be the face of IT team and support our global employees.
Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software and networking issues.
Respond to and resolve helpdesk requests.
Create articles for the knowledge base to ensure common issues and configurations are well documented
Ensure that all client machines are security compliant by keeping the security agents updated
Work in rotating shifts and participate in on-call rotation
Issue and track IT hardware assets including computers, monitors, phones, and peripherals
Work with vendors on any warranty or repair issues.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS :
Strong knowledge of Windows, Mac OS, Enterprise Connect and IOS
Strong Microsoft Office Suite
Strong Hardware knowledge of Dell Laptops, desktops and Macbooks
Experience managing MS Teams, WebEx and Zoom
Experience in handling Audio and Video conferencing equipment
Experience in handling printers, scanners and fax machines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good understanding of Security concepts and Endpoint security
Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
