Job Purpose :
To deliver exceptional volume and revenue performance by acquiring and engaging with DBS clients through need-based selling and ensure client coverage and product penetration through cross-sell and up-sell of DBS products and services.
To manage & maintain the highest customer satisfaction levels through pro-active client engagement & relationship management
Key Accountabilities :
Accountable for achieving monthly & annual volume and revenue objective, as agreed.
Ensure activation of e-Channels (I-Banking / M-Banking / Online MF / Debit Card) and Savings Book growth
Ensure proper implementation & execution of product strategies through effective relationship management.
Ensure optimum product mix and new- to- product clients aimed at customer level profitability and enhancing client coverage.
Acquire clients of the desired profile and engage with existing customers to deepen the wallet share.
Drive and deliver exemplary customer service in the local market and uphold DBS service standards.
Ensure internal and regulatory compliance through strict adherence to DBS sales process, timely risk reviews and exercising due diligence while on-boarding.
Job Duties & Responsibilities :
Achieve the savings and deposit book growth, volume and revenue targets through need based approach so as to provide suitable solutions to clients.
Acquire clients for the Bank of the desired profile and segment as per the Bank strategy.
Ensure complete knowledge of all products & services through continuous skill and knowledge improvement.
Resolve customer queries and complaints within the agreed TAT as per the DBS customer service policy.
Provide feedback on market, competition and products, suggest innovations & ideas for continuous product and service improvements.
Keep attuned to the current economic and financial markets so as to be current and proficient to ensure effective engagement with customers.
Coordinate and work closely with CBG Relationship Manager peer groups and colleagues, Service teams, Product specialist at branches so as to ensure that team objectives are met through an environment that nurtures harmony and collaboration through team work
Work closely with the Line Manager and City / Cluster Head so as to ensure achievement of common team and Branch objectives.
Ensure internal and regulatory compliance and address operational risks if any, e.g. Health & Safety standards, security of premises, AML / KYC and ongoing risk reviews.
To exercise appropriate due diligence while on-boarding and engaging with clients.
Establish DBS as a primary banker for clients and as a prominent wealth management provider in India.
Undertake regular client engagement events and activities for prospect generation and to help reinforce the DBS brand in the local market.
Keep abreast of current economic and financial markets so as to be current and proficient in attending to customers’ queries.
Work hand in hand with other business units to ensure that objectives of the team are met and there is team harmony and unity.
Ensure need-based selling so as to facilitate the distribution of third party products to customers as per the investment profile and objectives
Required Experience :
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in retail banking in sales.
Proven sales track record in financial services industry which would include investment, insurance, wealth management experience.
Sound understanding of financial planning and wealth management products in India
In-depth knowledge of local market and competition.
AMFI / IRDAI certified candidates preferable.
BCSBI / FEDAIcertification would be an added advantage.
