The Retail Business Service (RBS) team in Amazon manages the catalog for the Amazon selling community. Our solutions ensure information in Amazon's catalogs is accurate, complete and comprehensive enough to give our customers a great shopping experience every time.
RBS training team builds people skills in RBS that allow them to improve customer and selling partners experience. As a training program manager in this team your responsibility will be to analyze the training opportunities and design scalable and sustainable training solutions.
We are looking for an experienced training professional who is self-motivated with strong business acumen, a good team player who can earn trust of stakeholders, can innovate on behalf of customers and can deliver results in ambiguous situations.
This role is an individual contributor working within a team of experts solving people skill problems for our business units.
The right candidate will have the ability to apply ADDIE for training programs. As an expert of training domain you will be expected to map appropriate effectiveness criteria for the training initiatives and think on behalf of our customers.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Engage with stakeholders, evaluate business problems, and conduct need analysis exercises to identify training opportunities.
Use industry best practices like ADDIE model to design training curricula and define program life cycle.
Effectively prioritize program roadmaps to concurrently manage multiple programs.
Create mechanisms for systematically measuring the impact and continuously improving training programs to maximize the training effectiveness.
Create and manage the communication strategy for promoting and reporting on program strategy, priorities, risks, and status of the programs.
Develop and support training and professional growth of members within the team.
Manage and maintain vendor partners, delivery media and eLearning application, software, for scale and ease.
Manage training content / updates residing on SharePoint, LMS and shared drives.
Graduate in any discipline
Overall 8+ years of training experience including a 3+ years of experience in program / project management role requiring cross-functional coordination.
Demonstrated experience of having managed complex and large training projects.
Demonstrated experience of training analysis, design and measuring effectiveness.
Demonstrated experience of managing stakeholders at all levels, across multiple teams.
Demonstrated experience of designing innovative training solutions.
Excellent communication, coordination and organization skills.
Overall 10+ years of training experience including a 5+ years of experience in program / project management role requiring cross-functional coordination
Certifications in Project Management, Lean Six Sigma
Certification in Training Analysis, Training Design, Psychometric tools, Assessment / Development Center
