nbsp;A technical member of the writing team responsible for designing, authoring and editing training material and technical documents

  • Keywords that define the requirements ability to write and revise, love for research, organized, knows about usability principles and information designing techniques, designs storyboards, connects with audience, conceptually and intuitively understands how people learn, visualizes instructional graphics, user interface, interactions and the finished product
  • Writes documentation for various interfaces, graphical user interface, command line interfaces, and application programming interfaces
  • Other than documentation, the candidate should be able to update JIVE pages with the latest information on Product specifications, should be able to take down minutes of the meeting
  • Desired candidate profile

  • An associate s degree in English, Instructional designing, Technical Writing, Journalism, or Engineering with a background in computer science.
  • A minimum of two to three years of experience as an instructional designer cum technical writer.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with good authoring, and editing skills
  • Processes and standards for planning and implementing instructional design and development
  • Experience designing Web-based Training (WBT) or Instructor-led Training (ILT) for software releases using eLearning tools (Captivate, VideoScribe, Adobe Creative Cloud, PowerPoint, Storyline, etc.)
  • Familiarity with one of the major style guides (AP Stylebook, Chicago Manual).
  • Understanding of the Document Development Life cycle (DDLC) with respect to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
