The Head of Advertising Sales has the primary responsibility of leading and overseeing the activities of the Advertising Sales department.
He will be responsible for the preparation of promotional plans, media kits, ad sales contracts, and advertising sales collateral.
The Head of Advertising Sales identifies new markets and also designs and delivers special programs, marketing incentives, partnerships as well as other innovative, ad sales enabling and ad revenue generating opportunities for the business.
Responsible for revenue generation from Ad- Sales and will be responsible for targets achieved by the team.
Plans and directs the organization's advertising strategy from a business, sales, and technical perspective.
Develops budget and projections for advertising.
Oversees discussions and sales with sponsors and agencies and negotiates agreements with outside sales representatives.
Leads the development of sales materials including media kits.
Manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function.
Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets / policies / procedures to support the functional infrastructure.
