This is a key role for the on-going delivery of case management solutions within Compliance and Financial Crime utilising NICE Actimize Enterprise Risk Case Manager (eRCM).
We are looking to add a Developer to join our qualified and diverse development team.
This role will be responsible for leading the delivery team and will be required to liaise and to work very closely with other technology team members including developers and support team(ITIL construct).
What will you be doing?
As a senior Actimize eRCM Developer for Compliance Technology, you will deliver tactical and strategic improvements to large scale compliance / financial crime projects.
Architect and develop accurate, timely and robust technical solutions based on business requirements and test specifications
Review architecture and provide guidance on all aspects of design working closely with colleagues, technical leads and the Compliance CTO office
Provide accurate estimates to develop code that meets acceptance criteria
Conduct peer reviews and provide documented constructive feedback
Coordinate sprints, deployments into non-production and prepare for and participate in releases
Develop and utilise Barclays Compliance DevOps tools
Participate in Agile ceremonies, delivering on goals specified for each sprint
Manage eRCM application development, and maintenance
Using actimize tools, navigate, investigate, manage and upgrade AIS packages and custom based solutions
Write complicated queries and stored procedures in SQL Server
Work closely with onshore & offshore technology development team to ensure efficient delivery of technical solutions
Design, develop and test Java based solutions using common standards and frameworks such as JAXB, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, JPA, JavaEE, Spring, and Hibernate, maintain and update all existing J2EE UI applications as needed
Implement the product's lifecycle : Design, development, quality, deployment and maintenance
Develop and adhere to best-practices for developing applications and continuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaboration
What we’re looking for :
Experience in developing applications using Java EE / Spring framework
Experienced in Agile ceremonies
Experience with software release / build processes (e.g., Continuous Integration, Automated Deployment, Test Driven Development, etc.)
Working knowledge of source control and build process for front end applications
Excellent skills in DB Schema design and SQL development
Skills that will help you in the role :
Experienced lead or desire to lead a team of developers
Understanding of Cloud based infrastructure
