The ITSM Platform Senior Technical Specialist will take responsibility over ITSM Service Now platform;will be responsible for stability and performance, maintenance and upgrades, user management and enhancements that include design, build and customization.

Major duties and responsibilities

  • General support, administration and maintenance of ServiceNow platform and associated applications.
  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain custom and out of the box solutions for the ServiceNow platform
  • Serivce Portal knowledge
  • Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts and ACLs including advanced scripting of each.
  • Create and configure Notifications, UI pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, etc.

  • Configuring and managing Discovery and Orchestration
  • Work with business users to understand requirements, analyze needs, and develop solutions to meet requirements
  • Load, manipulate and maintain data between Service-now and other systems
  • Leverage agile methodologies to design, build, test, and implement solutions based on customers’ requirements
  • Packages coding changes for releases and migrates code and configuration changes between applicable environments, e.g., development, test, and production
  • Develop systems integrations and process automation
  • Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and with other company systems
  • Perform root cause analysis and remediation for integration, system, reporting, and data issues
  • Work directly with end users to resolve support issues within ServiceNow.
  • Create supporting system documentation
  • Create ServiceNow reports and dashboards
  • Track reuse and prioritize updates; develop other KPI’s related to KM
  • Coordinate application and platform upgrades and validation
  • Ensure that user feedback is incorporated into completed documents for future revisions
  • Qualifications

  • Education and Knowledge Requirements

  • 5+ years ServiceNow administration in an enterprise environment.
  • Certification in ServiceNow Application Developer certified
  • Experience configuring ServiceNow Discovery
  • Must be technically savvy and able to design and build applications that meet business goals and objectives
  • Proven experience implementing and customizing a web architected, n-tiered enterprise applications.
  • Familiar with Service Oriented architecture and web services integration (SOAP, WSDL, REST)
