Description The position is expected to do an embedded software / firmware development on various 8 / 16 / 32 bit microcontrollers;

Understand Software Requirement Specifications.
Develop detailed software design and implementation scheme.
Code development in embedded C and / or Assembly language.
Software debugging and fault finding.
Conducting Design / Code Review.
Education : B.E. / M.Sc. / M.E. / M. Tech. with Electronics / Instrumentation Background.
Experience : 0 to 10 years in Embedded Software Development
Knowledge & Skills
Embedded C and Assembly Language programming.
Knowledge of various 8 / 16 / 32 bit microcontrollers and / or microprocessors.
Hands on experience on PIC, ARM controllers would be an added advantage.
Basic knowledge of Analog & Digital Electronics.
Electronics hardware debugging skills.
Knowledge and / or hands on experience on various Serial Communication Protocols such as I2C, SPI, MODBUS, CAN etc.
Knowledge of Wired & Wireless Protocols.
Hands on experience on TCP / IP, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee would be plus.
Knowledge of RTOS. Hands on experience on u-COS would be plus.
Well versed with OOAD Concepts & UML.
Knowledge of Design Patterns & Data Structures would be plus.
Hands on experience on C and / or Java is an added advantage.
Knowledge of SDLC. Exposure to CMMI would be an added advantage.
Hands on experience on using tools such as SVN, Bugzilla, MS Project.
Good verbal & written English communication
