Within our Personal Health R&D group, we want to capture the strong market growth in ICs for hearing aids and implants, hearables, wearables, and personal health monitoring applications, health IoT.
Owing to our success, our department of 40 engineers is growing, and we have challenging opportunities for software engineers.
Our System-on-Chip products employ the latest Bluetooth Smart (BLE) or NFC with our experience in ultra-low power design.
We develop the full software stack from driver-level all to way to turnkey applications, enabling our customers to build their products with minimum effort.
Your role As a Software Application Engineer you develop applications on top of NXP silicon and associated firmware, highlighting the differentiators of our NXP ICs in application areas such as hearables and other wireless short-range communication devices.
you help a customer in solving reported problems, either by providing a workaround solution or by providing a patch in case of a blocking issue.
you translate a customer application into a solution with our SDK and our silicon solution using the corresponding starter kit.
you define and improve the starter kit so customers can evaluate and develop their product at a faster pace. you train customers, sales engineers, or engineers of distribution partners in using our SDK on our silicon with the starter kit.
you support the product manager, business development manager, and the regional sales teams in customer meetings and fairs / shows about the SDK and silicon solution.
You develop compelling demonstrations for a specific application domain. You feed back your insights to R&D and the product manager on how to match the value proposition with customer-needs optimally.
Your experience and know-how You have a Masters degree in Software Engineering or Electronics or you have reached this level through another form of training or experience.
