Job Description :
The job involves identifying and selling to potential advertisers based on the audience profile of the magazine, servicing existing clients and working with their agencies to secure advertising, conceptualizing new features or advertising properties
Business development -analyzing new possibilities of business growth and expansion
Pitch and sell the advertising space according to the targets assigned.
Meeting the clients and agencies for sales and other business development activities
Desired Skills and Experience
The applicant should have a successful sales track record and an ability to spearhead sales by actively engaging clients and cracking tough accounts.
A good understanding of B2B sales process along with an ability to map the market at all levels are essential.
The ideal candidates should have excellent communication skills (written & oral). S / he should be highly motivated and self-driven go-getters with a "never say die" attitude.
S / he should have the ability to sell honestly and the strength to sell without discounts and editorial support. S / he should be able to think creatively and map the market at all levels.
The selected candidates will be responsible for aggressive sales targets.The compensation offered will be very competitive.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar / related magazine / newspaper etc.
