Job Description Summary :
As a Program Manager you will be focused on planning, organizing, reporting, and holding stakeholders accountable to manage strategic programs / projects directed toward company and R&D goals.
You will be working collaboratively as part of a high performing team ensuring successful, timely and in-scope delivery of programs and create mitigation strategies when required.
Programs involve implementation of a variety of work streams and typically spanning multiple functional teams and geographic locations.
The ideal candidate is an execution leader, exceptional communicator, focused on details without losing the big picture, comfortable with ambiguity, is a fast learner and drives to get work done timely and with precision.

Will have to possess or be able to develop working knowledge of :
Leadership presence and to be the accountable person who drives strategic programs across Lithium R&D
Gather requirements and conceptualize a solution to solve a business problem
Communicate program’s path forward without ambiguity or distraction; able to articulate complex technical topics for non-
technical audiences and senior leadership
Structured sense for defining targets, meeting phased timelines, and data orientation / analysis
Practiced knowledge in project and program management processes, tools, templates and management techniques
Courage to lead without direct authority and with the humility to roll up sleeves’ and drive work forward
Personal intellectual horsepower; ability to multiply trust and critical thinking under pressure
Collaborate with various departments across the company and lead to consensus driven decisions
Comfortable working with software engineers, product managers, quality engineers, customer care specialists, professional services and ability to interact with senior executives
Work independently yet collaborate with multiple teams to drive the program towards the end goal
Qualification and Required Skills :
A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Arts is required at a minimum
7 to 10+ years delivering results in corporate environments preferably global companies
3+ years’ experience as a program or project manager
Demonstrated ability to execute multiple, complex technical projects
Hands-on experience working on different program management methodologies and tools
Strong communication skills, including the ability to effectively manage, influence, negotiate, and communicate with external business partners and internal teams to meet operational performance goals
Strategic thinking and direction - understand the overall organization strategy, influence the cross functional team to align on the strategic initiatives, showcase an entrepreneurial mindset in solving the underlying business issues
Business Acumen - Provide valid business views relevant to the strategic program and exhibits content leadership
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize, maintain a strong attention to detail and work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Planning & Execution - Drive execution rigor using best practices, manage & drive change wherever needed
Problem Solving & Decision Making Pro-actively identify problems & drive solutions, make decisions which are based on the values and principles of the organization and to be driven by data
