Working with Global Business Service, you will be a team member for this global project role contributes to the end-to-end design of the Workday solution for the Compensation / Adv compensation workstream.
This role is an opportunity to join Project Fusion as a member of the global Compensation / Advanced Compensation functional workstream.
In this role, you will be responsible for working as part of this workstream to design ABB’s future HR processes in the evolving HR service delivery model including scope of services.
It is about fully unleashing and harvesting the opportunities of an operating model that builds on a single Workday instance with best-of-breed add-ons, delivering a superior user experience for employees, line managers, applicants, and HR professionals.
This project role will end Q4 2022. A permanent assignment in the post-project support team will be assessed in due course.
Key team member of the Comp. / Advanced compensation workstream under the leadership of the functional Workstream Lead.
Determining the end-to-end design of ABB’s global Workday solution for given processes within the workstream under the leadership of the Workstream lead and cooperation with a Workday functional consultant and business representatives.
Contribute to the configuration of Compensation Plans (example Allowances), associated Comp Processes and end-to-end linkage with Payroll, via Integrations
Analyze eligibility rules for Compensation Plans (who is eligible for what) by-Country and for the multiple Compensation Plans (Bonus Plans, Assist with simplifying the Annual Bonus Plan Rollout and Payout by designing end-to-end processes and configuration in Workday
Incorporating requirements of the Countries by collaborating with the Country Compensation Leads
Responsible for Core Compensation and Advanced Compensation Testing, Change Requests and Reporting needs
Incorporating requirements of the Business Areas by collaborating with the Business Co-Lead and strive for one hire-to-retire process across ABB.
Considering dependencies with other HR processes (within workstream and across workstreams), cross-functional specialists, governance specialists and technical specialists to ensure the out-side-in perspective, further : adequate documentation, testing and cutover.
Responsible for project management for the workstream, i.e., ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met within stated project timelines, preparing reports to Project leadership and key stakeholders, preparing design documents and content for training materials, training etc.

Proven HR process management experience by having successfully operated, designed, optimized, automated, deployed and measured HR business processes of a global scope in the domain of the given workstream with significant aspects of complex IT implementation, organizational transformation and ambitious value creation targets.
Graduate / post-graduate degree in Business Management, HR or related discipline.
5+ years of work experience and knowledge in several fields of HR Business Processes, HR IS (Human Capital Management Systems, HCM) and HR Master Data in roles at large technological and industrial companies with complex organizations and multi-cultural management, of which at least 3 years of experience in Compensation is required
Experience with Workday Compensation module is highly favorable.
Extremely structured thinking and strong communication skills to convince HR professionals, line managers and employees globally of the solutions delivered by Project Fusion and drive the change towards a common plan and timelines.
Ability to structure and convey complex messages, urgency and insights into meaningful action plans.
