Advanced V&V Engineer
Job Description :
Primary job is to do product validation and he she will haveto closely collaborate and work with product development team (R&D).
Candidate should must have commissioning / Maintenance Experience which requires understandingthe product requirements, plan the testing, prepare test cases, execute thetesting and report the defects in defect tracking tool.
Ensuring timelycompletion and submission of test reports. Should take initiative in givinginnovative ideas and enhancement suggestions for new or existing products.
Maintaining Test Lab hardware and software which includes Virtualization, Servers, Workstations, Network switches, controllers and other equipment.
Will be part of systems validation team performing validation and qualification of Honeywell process control systems such as Experion PKS, Safety Manager and Cyber Connected will be an added advantage.
Will have independent responsibility in designing test systems and executing functional / system tests on different EPKS / Forge Cyber Connected sub-systems where the candidate’s prior experience in working on similar systems will be expected to be leveraged.
Plan Test Efforts and Track execution as per plan. Work on Risk identification and mitigation. Provide updates to stakeholders.
Will be responsible for Test strategy, design & execution of different types of test covering functional and nonfunctional requirements.
Will be responsible for independently assess the quality of a program and raise flag on concerns.
Take part in review of Architecture analysis and Design of a solution. Play the role of a Domain expert and provide design inputs to End user interfaces.
Document Test processes Provide contents and Review Forge Cyber Connected documents.
Bachelor degree in Instrumentation Technology, Electronics, Computer or Electronics & Communication Engineering
At least 10+ years of Total Experience in Commissioning, Maintenance of Instrumentation and Control System and an experience in Honeywell Experion DCS system / Honeywell Forge Cyber Connected is an added advantage.
CISCO Certified Network / Design / Security Professional (at least one) must currently be certified or in the process of certification
Knowledge of Distributed Control System(DCS) and / or Programmable Logic Controller(PLC) and SCADA.
Knowledge of basic field instrumentation for temperature / pressure / flow / level measurement and control and their applications.
Knowledge of types process control loops - feedback, feedforward, ratio, cascade control.
Knowledge of Network Devices as Switches, Router, Firewall
TCP / IP protocols SMTP, SNMP, FTP, HTTPS, SSH, SSL
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and / or Test Life Cycle and Experience in usage of Test Management Tools like JIRA.
Candidate should possess good knowledge of process control concepts and field instrumentation basics. candidate should have good Analytical and trouble shooting skills and would be expected to work well in teams.
Candidate with knowledge in EPKS / Safety Manager and Forge Cyber Connected Products will have added advantage.
Candidate should have good understanding of deployment scenarios of DCS Systems and end user use cases.
Understanding of subsystem communication protocols Ethernet IP, HART, FF, OPC.
Understanding of O & G design standards (AGA and API) is a added advantage.
Knowledge and usage of C200 / C300 controller and Series A, Series C I / O and PMIO.
Fault Tolerant Ethernet (Honeywell product) will have an added advantage.
