In this role, you could work with the Security team under EDI
You are responsible for
Deploying Microsoft and Third-party patches on various operating system platforms.
Post patch reboot of multiple products following the SOP and ensuring Application functionality.
Troubleshoot Patch deployment failures, connectivity issues and application issues
Work with Customer, Netops, Vendor in troubleshooting and resolving issues
Responsible to manage customer patch schedules and point of contact information
Responsible to manage and maintain Patching tools
Responsible to perform service validation of new products and their FOK
Responsible to drive improvements process and tools related.
You are a part of
In this job role you will be part of the Philips EDI O2F Security Patching Ops teams. The organization responsible for the security implementation, management, and maintenance of Philips EDI product installed base.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
Important criteria #1 (minimum education level and / or related major for the role)
Bachelors / Master degree holder in any Technical streams
3 to 5 Years of relevant experience in Windows server management, Security patching and VMware administration / design / deployment / troubleshooting / monitoring
Important criteria #2 (mandatory technical experience, knowledge and / or certification)
Mandatory Tech skillsets :
Windows Servers operating systems administration
MS Active Directory
MS Patch deployment and management
Strong TCP / IP concepts
Strong troubleshooting capabilities
Virtualization and Private cloud Basics VMWare / HyperV
IDS / IPS / Application firewall monitoring, rules customization, fine tuning
Preferred Tech skillsets :
Linux system administration
Patching / software deployment WSUS / IVanti
Powershell / Bash / Python scripting
Vulnerability assessment Nessus / Rapid7
Important criteria #4 (required personal skills)
Strong verbal and written communication
Ability to work on Request to resolution work model and controlled change management
Ability to work with multiple vendor products, technologies and solutions
Experience in working with geographically distributed teams
Remote solution deployment and troubleshooting capabilities
Flexibility in availability and work timing
Strong interpersonal collaboration capabilities
Self-motivated and take ownership to drive to closure
