Job Description :

The User Acceptance Testing Team Member role is a key contributor to the function of testing the quality of our data. The role is responsible for understanding the request, reviewing the Functional specs to determine where the data is being extracted from, working with our LOB testing partners to determine alignment to front end systems, to ultimately determine if the final product matches the expected result.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills, organizational skills, business knowledge and attention to detail will be required for this position.

The candidate must be able to work independently, enjoy a fast-paced environment, handle multiple simultaneous projects, have exceptionally good verbal and written communication skills, and be comfortable dealing with all levels of management when explaining business results and variances

Key responsibilities include :

Development of test documentation to include : UAT plans, UAT schedules and UAT test cases / scripts

Write high level and low level testing scripts

Organizations testing efforts to evidence tests performed and outcome achieved

Review project documents to understand requirements, data, and desired outcome

Coordinate with LOB testing team for scripts and priority

Executes process to extract data from front end systems

Analysis of results to determine if data is correct as reported

Summarize and report findings to project teams

Escalate potential areas of inconsistent data

Serve as a subject matter expert and participate in Go / No Go decisions

Regularly report status to Controls / UAT Manager for consolidated status reporting


4 years of experience with planning and coordinating test activities, overseeing test case development and defect


Graduate with emphasis in MIS, Computer Science, Math, or other hard science

Advance knowledge of testing / application development workflow tools HP Quality Center / ALM

Working knowledge of Excel, specifically excel formulas, data sets within Excel, pivots table etc

Working knowledge of Visual Basic for Applications

Mortgage Banking experience would be a big plus

Data profiling tool experience, TOAD for Oracle experience a plus

Knowledge of key SDLC best practices, experience with sampling and testing methodologies, and UAT defect tracking and resolution are key pluses
