Master Data ManagerResponsible for the site Master Data processes aimed to ensure accurate and timely creation and maintenance of the master data in the ERP System, in accordance with local and global requirements.
Material PlannerThe Material Planner drives the tactical purchasing process for all materials to ensure materials availability and execution plan feasibility in accordance with Site inventory policy.
Master Data Manager : -Ensures, defines and governs consistent master data throughout the whole master data life cycle and global business processes and defines the matrix of responsibilities within the MD process and the person that defines the parameter, the person who updates SAP with the right value, etc.
Ensures that local material master data integrity and quality is established by analyzing basic requirements, maintaining the attributes in the systems and assuring all data introduced in the system is reliable and comes from the correct sources and challenges data consistency and completeness and verifies, correct and completes requests for data maintenance complying with Global Master Data processes and related SOPs.
Identifies areas for improvement regarding Global Material Master processes, tools and rules and supports improvement processes.
Responsible for specific Master Data Management processes (expertise, key account) to build, extend and share knowledge within self-directed working teams.
Train and support the assigned functional SPoCs and Subject Matter Experts on site and ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements (including record management) and continuous improvement of quality relevant processes within area of responsibility.
Ensures permanent data quality and assists in data base cleaning.Material Planner : -Ensure material availability in line with the approved production plan.
Ensure daily MRP oversight for all BOM material, analysis of requirements and Purchase Orders management. -Ensure management of daily MRP exception messages and appropriate follow up.
Own, in ERP System, MRP relevant data and materials technical specifications and ensure no Purchase Orders are past due in the ERP System.
Management of purchased item Complaints / Returns to supplier. -Provide a load-balanced dispatch list for incoming materials to the warehouse and Quality department that ensures these activities are completed in line with the production needs.
Control and follow-up of supplier’s service level indicators : Quality OTIF, lead-time violation. -Lead action plans to achieve supplier delivery performance targets and drive for continuous improvement.
Primary responsibilities consist of conducting Master Data Management (MDM) operations per established global strategy across the Alcon division for assigned Franchise.
MDM operations will consist of maintaining Finished Goods and Non-Finished Goods Material Master within both SAP system and applicable legacy ERP environments, inclusive of applicable Manufacturing Master Data being activated as part of IRIS Manufacturing deployments.
Perform Master Data Management daily operations and central governance of ERP Material data to ensure high degree of data accuracy, consistency and completeness.
The primary focus is to facilitate the Material Master set-up and changes in accordance with department standards and business rules during integration activities, global and regional product launches and all subsequent phases of the product life cycle.
Successfully resolve operational issues related to master data, such as out-of-sync conditions across systems, or resolve other applicable operational disruptions by performing proper root cause analysis and executing data and process remediations.
Provide SAP Material Master business process expertise to associates, business process owners within local Manufacturing sites and Supply Chain Hub.
The Global Data Steward serves as a primary point of contact for local Data Stewards for the creation, activation and maintenance of SAP material master data utilizing Global Data Management standards.

Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Science / Engineering. Masters Degree preferred.
Fluency in English essential. Knowledge / Fluency of at least one other language preferred
3 years in Master Data Management; Medical Device industry and SAP Master Data Management experience preferred.
Good working skills with MS Office suite; Advance experience in advance MS Excel, MS Access and MS Visio preferred.
3 years developing solutions to complex problems which may require some ingenuity and innovation. Ensures solutions are consistent with organization precedents and policies.
2 years interacting with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
