Job Description Functional Competencies
The SAP OTC Principal will provide smart, lean, and timely SAP solutions for the OTC business processes for all Sabre business segment.
Accountable for translating business needs into functional and technical specifications, building or enhancing the overall solution, testing and deploying quality work products.
Responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, configuring, upgrading the system in the areas of SAP SD, MM, FI / CO, HR, BW modules
Must have strong SAP SD configuration skills and a broad understanding of SAP standards and best practices. Some MM configuration skills will also be required.
Must have prior experience with : o Customer Master, Partner Functions and Business Partners o Credit Checks driven by FSCM Credit Management o Availability check and Available-
to-Promise with SAP ECC o Output management with SD Billing o SAP Biller Direct and invoice presentment o Complex pricing procedures in SAP ECC, pricing tables, and conditions o Key integrations points between SD and Finance (FICO).
Experience with ABAP / 4 tools such as ABAP workbench, Smart forms, SAP scripts, BAPIs, cross application components, LSMW and CATT
Must have the ability to influence our internal clients to leverage standard functionalities, and only opt for customization as a last resort.
Must have experience completing effort estimates, preparing proposals and collaborating with our functional partners to deliver sound business cases.
Must have the ability to troubleshoot complex interfaces involving multiple systems and middleware applications.
Collaborates with other process leaders (PTP, RTR, and non-SAP systems) to ensure a cohesive solution without impacting downstream processes or systems.
Responsible for preparing and conducting prioritization meetings (for enhancements and defects) with the OTC functional partners.
Ensure all critical OTC processes are properly monitored and alerted; and automate recurrent incidents.
Responsible for leading, coaching and cross-training a team of SD functional consultants.
Prior experience with managed services agreements with an onshore / offshore model.
Closely follows the strategic direction set by the segment and executes on priority goals.
Proficiency with ASAP (Accelerated SAP) Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
Closely works with infrastructure teams to ensure a reliable and stable operations.
Understanding of Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques.
Knowledge in traditional databases such as SQL, Oracle DB2 or HANA data base is preferred
