Description and Requirements

Responsibilities :

  • Generate detailed assessments and estimates outlining scope, assumptions, risks and effort necessary for planning and supplying project resource needs and team resource forecasting
  • Create and own functional requirements / technical user stories used by Integration System team developers and other development teams
  • Design web service interfaces and produce API specifications detailing the service operations supported and structure of the request / response fields, types and conditions of each service operation
  • Test, investigate and triage project defects then coordinate and plan Integration System team releases
  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical cross functional teams to facilitate meetings and work items that are needed for the creation of the integration modules and web services
  • Allow for rapid product and service introduction, enhance the customer experience while maintaining and ensuring data integrity;
  • or enhance business performance through process improvements

  • Accountable for timely resolution of support issues involving TELUS systems and processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members to achieve project objectives
  • Technical areas :

  • 7+ Years of experience in building and supporting application using BSS / OSS COTS product ( Eg : NetCracker)
  • 5+ years of experience developing complex enterprise applications
  • 5+ years hands on experience with core Java
  • 5+ years developing complex pl / sql query with emphasis performance tuning
  • 3+ years hands on experience developing rest API
  • Well versed with the idea of MicroServices Architecture
  • Lead a group of developer to deliver best in class code
  • 2+ Years of experience with agile development methodologies
  • Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Testing
  • Valued for your project management or quality assurance / problem management experience with understanding of QA testing lifecycle
  • Ability working with multiple cross-functional teams
  • Required Knowledge :

  • Requirements definition
  • Root cause analysis
  • Risk assessment / mitigation
  • User interfaces / processes
  • Hands on experience
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies
  • Documentation and communication on individual components of projects
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Understanding of Application Life Cycle management principles including service, release, and change management
  • Good communication skills / English
