The mission of the manager hardware engineer is to lead the development of new hardware devices for 75F. Working with product management, you will use your exceptional technical competency and deep understanding of analog and digital circuit design, ML and IoT platforms, sensors and certification standards to create IoT products at the vanguard of the Built Environment.
You will also explain to the engineering and support teams not just the 'how' or 'what' are best design choices are but also the 'why'.
Responsible for hardware and embedded product development : working with product management for requirement gathering, design, simulation, testing, manufacturing readiness and certifications
Lead, manage and provide domain knowledge / training to engineering and manufacturing teams
Responsible for building and leading the team : planning, timelines, budgets, task decomposition, and project management in an agile environment
Validation of the delivery and quality assurance
Establish best engineering practices through processes and tools

And the following Skills & Experience :
BSEE and at least 15+ years' experience and / or equivalent experience
Proven expertise designing and bringing to market embedded hardware projects with RF and microcontrollers, system-level design and testing
Ability to lead and mentor other engineers
Expertise in analog and digital design
Familiarity with IoT platforms, evolving communication standards and sensors
Experience in approvals (UL, CE, FCC)
Expertise in product lifecycle management, ERP, and document control
Familiarity with embedded C, embedded firmware development
