Our team is looking for a Program Manager Lead with a strong technical background to define, execute, and deliver on the evolution of mobile experiences on Teams.

The role will involve working closely both with our business and customer facing groups as well as with our engineering team.

It includes ownership of end-to-end scenarios within Teams and collaboration with other product groups across Microsoft.

Candidates will need to be able to drive successful collaboration across these various groups while maintaining a focus on customer requirements and driving the strategicdirection of the area.

Responsibilities

  • Define the overall strategy, priorities and roadmap for key areas in Teams mobile experiences
  • Identify business and customer needs to remove DSATs, boost mobile usage and delight customers in a mobile-first way
  • Lead initiatives through close collaboration with partner teams within and outside the org e.g. Teams Desktop counterparts and other teams in Office
  • Regularly present product plans and vision to the leadership team as well as internal and external partners
  • Qualifications

  • 10+ years of program or product management experience
  • Leadership acumen with demonstrated success in managing people and leading teams
  • Strong background in UX for end-user facing products and services. Mobile experience is a plus.
  • Deep customer and user empathy and ability to identify customer needs
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and cross-group skills
  • Strong problem solving with strategic, technical,and analytical thinking
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
