Cyber Security Specialist
Qualification : Degree :
Bachelors Degree, Diploma
CCNA Security or Equivalent
Stakeholder Management :
â€¢ Adherence to customer security and compliance requirements.
â€¢ Ensure stated productivity requirements are met for the engagement.
â€¢ Inspect configuration and security devices log review.
â€¢ Review of standard operating procedures against support provided.
â€¢ Review the disaster recovery plan for good practices.
Service Exceution :
â€¢ Perform SOP activities with business impact understanding of customer environment and contribute to improve SOPs.
â€¢ Implementation of approved change requests in line with customer change management process.
â€¢ Responsible for incident life cycle following ITIL frame work as applicable.
â€¢ Adherence to customer communication etiquette.
â€¢ Assess security design for single points of failure.
Project management :
â€¢ Review CSAT feedback and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
â€¢ Coordinate with resolver groups vendors / carriers.
â€¢ Responsible to develop induction documents in consultation with relevant stakeholders for the project and ensure successful completion of induction process for new joiners.
â€¢ Effective floor Management.
Process adherence :
â€¢ Participate in Critsit process to resolve the incident in a timely manner.
â€¢ Log and triage incidents.
â€¢ Troubleshoot the escalated incident / problem and refer / escalate (functional and hierarchical) to the right groups (Vendors / Level 3 ).
â€¢ Provide inputs to FAQ database / KR / contribute towards updating knowledge articles.
â€¢ Contribution to continuous service improvement plans (CSI).
People Management :
â€¢ Continually assess skill level and provide intervention assistance.
â€¢ Contribute to and participate proactively in knowledge sharing sessions.
â€¢ Encourage team individuals to participate in organization innovation programs.
â€¢ Act as a buddy for new hires.
â€¢ Makes recommendations on R&R for team / individual achievement.
â€¢ Makes recommendations to team lead on teamâ€™s performance rating.
Knowledge Management :
â€¢ Ensure team contributes and participates in all organizational technology events and knowledge sharing forums.
â€¢ Adherence to Organizational policies and processes (including Cognizantâ€™s security policies LP timelines etc).
