Job Description

Microchip is looking for an experienced embedded system engineer to be part of a dynamic team, focused on developing and supporting the dsPIC33 microcontroller family of products.

Our end applications target automotive modules with CAN-FD and LIN communications, advanced electric motor solutions, highly efficient digital power converters, wireless chargers, smart sensors, and capacitive-touch user interfaces.

The group comprises of a global team of highly motivated, results-oriented experts, working in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Participate and contribute in cross-functional team for New Product Development
  • Develop firmware and hardware to support customers and create development boards and reference designs.
  • Lead validation efforts with multi-discipline team members using silicon and FPGA-based platforms.
  • Develop documentation, training, promotions, and presentation materials for customers and field support team members.
  • Job Requirements

  • B..Tech or equivalent with 8.5+ years of Microcontroller / DSP experience including,
  • Assembly / C / C++ Programming in embedded environment
  • Hands-On Hardware development using MCUs, DSPs, SiPs
  • Working knowledge of Functional Safety is a plus
  • Testing and / or trouble shooting and / or understanding of EMI / EMC
  • Mixed signal features knowledge and validation experience is desired
  • Working with communication channels such as CAN, I2C, SPI, UART is a plus
  • Team player attitude
