Job Description

Strategic purchasing for the assigned material field and region Source to Contract

Category : Professional Services Consulting + Marketing

Input to and implementation of global strategies for the defined category

Stakeholder and relationship management with internal customers (early involvement, demand- and project management)

Preparation and execution of RFI and RFQ

Planning and execution of supplier meetings (pitches etc.)

Design and execution of awarding and negotiation strategy (with and w / o competition)

Preparation and approval of purchasing decisions / contracts in accordance with the signature regulations

Supplier development and mentoring

Conduct market analysis to identify and follow current trends

Identify new buying possibilities and strategies

Qualifications

Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking

High level of purchasing expertise (contract negotiations, nego tactics, ANM methods etc.)

Project management skills and capability to efficiently manage multiple projects

Willingness to take responsibility and decisive in a time-sensitive situation

Problem-solving and analytical skills

Profound Microsoft Office knowledge

Able to work in a digital environment (Sourcing tools, databases, ect.)

Business fluent English + French and / or German

Communication skills (verbally and writing) with stakeholders on various hierarchy levels

Willingness to travel

Intercultural competencies

Bachelor’s degree and 5 years minimum professional experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Contracts Management or equivalent role
