Description
As part of Qualys UX team, Visual designers should have a deep understanding of design principles, typography, iconography, color, space etc.
Should have a creative mind with strong interests and taste for designing pixel perfect User Interfaces. Must have strong problem-solving skills through visual design within specified design standards
Job Description
3+ years of visual design experience with user interface design patterns and standard user-centered design methodologies.
Must work on aesthetic appeal of a product to enhance the user experience and usability
Must possess in-depth knowledge of typography, iconography, color, space etc. to create a compelling visual experience.
Use visual elements and design patterns to address the principles of good visual designs
Should be clearly able to convey visual and information hierarchy through design
Should believe in design is in details and strive for consistency across the platform
Should be ready to do multiple iterations and design refinement as per feedback received
Interact with the UX designers in the team, work on workflow visualization, create the single source of truth , guides and specifications for implementation and reference
Facilitate product requirements by prototyping pixel perfect mock-ups using tools like Figma (preferred), Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
Data visualization through graph widgets, grid systems and micro-interactions should be strong
Define and deliver design standards for consistent visual and interaction experience
Be opened to receiving feedback and constructive criticism

Required Skills / Knowledge / Experience :
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal, to articulate complex or technical issues. Good Organizational and analytical, presentation and client management skills
Comfortable with ambiguity / fuzzy requirements under deadlines.
Design systems, design strategy , Typography, Iconography skills.
Deep knowledge of design patterns and principles. Extremely familiar with Guidelines. Knows the rules and what rules can be broken.
Understands the importance of visual design and how they impact user experience design.
Innovative the ability to approach things differently or do different things to deliver goals.
Understanding of responsive design constraints.
Understanding of micro-interactions.
