Job Description : Process Outcome

Performance Measure

Sales : Optometry : Examination, diagnosis and dispensing

1. Greet the customer, gather information on the presenting complaint and the history of the presenting complaint and other medical history

2. Perform the eye examinations as per the defined 20 step framework to effectively diagnose the condition

3. Undertake detailed counselling of the customers on the diagnosed refractory condition and recommend the best refractory solution

4. Guide the customers in the selection of frames, lenses, etc. that is best suited for the condition diagnosed

5. Undertake the pre & post fitting QC for the lenses to ensure that it’s as per the standards

6. Guide the customers on the usage for contact lenses, speciality lenses, disposables, etc. to ensure that customer is acquainted on proper usage

7. Undertake re-examination of the customers presenting with issues on prescribed product and recommend / provide modified solutions as per the requirement

    1. Drive sales of the contact lenses, powered sunglasses, etc. by introducing the appropriate products to the customers as per the requirements

    2. Educate the customers on the benefits, promotions, offers, etc. to ensure sales conversion

    3. Prepare and provide periodic MIS incorporating contact lens, powered sunglasses, progressive lens, QC reports, etc. as per the prescribed guidelines

    1. Maintain the equipment as per the prescribed standards to ensure that its error free and conserve the life span
