The Learning Experience Specialist, (LES), based in Bangalore will be responsible for delivering a variety of training solutions for Credit and Financial Services Solutions, (CFSS), supporting Resolutions and Protections Services, (RNP), teammates.

Training topics include the PayPal Business Model, PayPal products, processes and procedures and are delivered during new hire, up-

skill, refresher and ad hoc training experiences. The LES will work on cross-functional and global projects to drive performance improvement, collaborate with the RNP Business Leaders to support business KPIs and act as a SME for RNP.

Areas of focus include developing and facilitating an engaging learning experience to teammates, project management, training needs analysis, assessing training effectiveness, coaching and building effective business partnerships.

Core Responsibilities :

  • Regularly use PayPal customer and teammate products, work in production and innovate to improve the teammate and customer experience
  • Leverage different learning methods and channels (e-learning, discussion boards, classroom, simulation, web-conference) to enable learning, increase engagement and impact performance
  • Proactively communicate with stakeholders and Learning Business Partners on identified performance improvement opportunities
  • Design learning experiences that support business objectives
  • Collaborate and communicate with the learning team on effective design and implementation for maximum impact
  • Demonstrate an understanding of CFSS metrics and how teammate behaviors impact performance
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent
  • Demonstrated ability in both independent facilitation and training principles
  • Demonstrated ability to write training related material
  • Ability to work flexible hours and / or overtime as business needs dictate
  • Travel to other PayPal sites, including global locations, may be required
  • Job Requirements :

  • Basic knowledge of adult learning principles and the ability to apply those concepts in a learning culture
  • Ability to learn new skills and PayPal product knowledge quickly and determine the best way to reinforce the new skills
  • Thrive in a constant change environment and be a change champion for their colleagues
  • Capable of delivering back-to-back in-classroom training
  • Experience :

  • Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills
  • Must be a team player with an ability to lead in the classroom to motivate and inspire others
  • Candidates must demonstrate proven experience and success in training needs analysis, design, delivery & assessment
  • Previous experience of customer service is essential
  • Project Management experience valued
  • Experience using Microsoft Office products including : Excel, Word, Outlook, Visio, and PowerPoint
  • Experience with Adobe Captivate, Articulate or any e-learning tools would be a plus
  • Candidates must have a proven track record in achieving strong results as well as continually displaying initiative to take on additional responsibilities towards professional growth
  • Ability to handle multiple projects under pressure
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information
