  • Process Overview*

    FX Swift Investigations identifies researches and resolves any exceptions arising post settlement of FX Trades and incoming and outgoing payments related to FX products.

    These exceptions relate to client requests such as payment cancellation, recall of funds, amendment, confirmation of credit to beneficiary etc.

    Job Description

    Processing of swift messages related to Swift Investigation process

    Perform all activities related to Swift Investigations

    Ensure all e-emails are actioned and cleared by EOD

    Clearly understand the case input, process & expertise in opening / closing of cases

    Follow up with banks / depts to ensure timely action and closure of case

    Escalation / Prioritization of aged / high value cases

    Ensure to clear the Nostro and Swift Cases within the SLA

    Understanding the best practices which minimizes risk & time

    Ensure all payment / swift message queues are cleared at EOD

    Processing swifts / payments with 100% accuracy without incurring loss to the bank

    Re-effect the payments based on instructions received.

    The associates will be primarily responsible for processing transactions as per the SLAs outlined by the Line of Business

    Responsibilities*

    Perform Investigation of incoming and outgoing swift messages

    Ensure all e-mails are actioned and cleared by EOD

    Clearly understand the Case input process & expertise in opening / closing of cases

    Follow up with banks / depts to ensure timely action and closure of case

    Ensure to clear the NOSTRO and Swift Cases within the SLA

    Ensure all payment / swift message queues are cleared at EOD

    Requirements*

  • Education* B Com / MBA Finance
  • Certifications If Any in Global Markets
  • Experience Range* 4 to 6 years
  • Mandatory skills* FX knowledge, Knowledge of Wire Payments, Knowledge of Swift Messages (Swift MT103, MT202, MT199), Good understanding of FX trade confirmation and settlement, Excellent communication skills and Good analytical aptitude and reasoning ability
  • Desired skills* Hands on experience in using MS excel.
