The Optimization Analyst team is part of the Verizon Media Optimization Strategy organization. We manage and optimize Guaranteed and Demand-
Side Platform (DSP) Ad campaigns, helping advertisers meet and exceed performance / Revenue goals. Things we love : killer click-

About the Role :
The Optimization Analyst team works with the Account Strategists & Account Managers and uses Guaranteed a.k.a. Premium and Exchange a.
k.a Programmatic advertising frameworks to develop strategies that drive performance of Guaranteed and Programmatic ad campaigns.
Leveraging the best-in-class AdTech and Demand-Side (DSP) platforms, the Optimization Analyst works on reports, data representation, insights & pro-
actively recommends optimizations to frequency caps, targeting criteria, audience segments, creative, landing pages and supply sources across Display, Video and Mobile.
Along with our Account Strategists & Account Managers, Optimization Analysts are individual contributors who act as a key resource for Verizon Media’s most valuable advertisers in planning and implementing their digital marketing campaigns.

Partner with your Account Strategist on pre-sale, campaign setup and optimization opportunities, directly impacting Verizon Media’s revenue
Work with the Account Manager to Understand client ROI / CPA / ROAS goals, objectives & data, media buying cycles, marketing philosophy, target demographics, etc
Prepare customized performance reports and identify opportunities that promote long-term client success with Premium and Programmatic Ads
Provide insights tailored to advertiser-defined metrics while assimilating and analyzing complex data from proprietary and multiple third-party systems
Work independently on data and performance analysis, share ideas for strategic up-sell opportunities that could drive incremental revenue.
Define problems in a simple, clear manner and apply critical thinking skills to arrive at solutions for the varied nature of client requests
Generate creative ideas and challenge the status quo while encouraging
innovation in others
Be effective, courteous and engaging while communicating with partner teams
Minimum of Bachelor level degree with preference for marketing, advertising, or related field
Good interpersonal and communication skills - oral, written and presentation
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
Proven ability to manage prioritize, multiple daily tasks and think on your feet in high-pressure situations
High attention to detail with an ability to do organic research
Creative problem solving employing data analytics and critical thinking
Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively across multiple teams
Strong interest in all facets of digital marketing, guaranteed and programmatic ad campaign management, and a willingness to continue to stay contemporary on trends within the industry
