Required to do :

  • Produce high-quality outputs across research, insight development, creative ideation, and presentation.
  • Be the strategic lead on larger program relationships understand the business situation and challenges, set the strategic vision, and proactively surface opportunities.
  • Seek out and gain knowledge of customer preferences and relationships to products and advertising.
  • Synthesize information to provide thoughtful and well-written conclusions on developing a marketing and branding plan for the client.
  • Be an active lead in pitches from initial handshake to the big idea to the final presentation.
  • Build positive relationships with clients.
  • Provide insight to clients regarding how customer preference information will enhance creative campaigns.
  • Sell strategy and creative executions by communicating consumer knowledge to clients.
  • Partner with Team Leads across departments to set project processes and requirements for success, ensuring strategic thinking and customer insight are incorporated in all aspects of the agency's work.
  • Stay attuned to technology, category, cultural dynamics, and brand opportunities to provide value to the client.
  • Be a partner, a coach, and a support system to creative teams craft inspiring briefs, lead brainstorms and ensure the Team is on track without stifling creativity.
  • Be a mentor and a mentee, both to fellow strategists and others within the agency.
  • Required Skills

  • Market Research Design and execute original methods of primary research producing an actionable report out.
  • Ideation Synthesize complex information into compelling stories and inspire creative deliverables.
  • Competitive Analysis Originate coherent frameworks for deriving insights that can be shared with others.
  • Presentation Development Engage clients with a clear narrative and overcome challenges to turn objections into deep understanding.
  • Strategic Planning Keep the cross-functional team focused on the higher-level strategic direction when producing creative content.
  • Strategic Partnership - Maintain an authentic relationship with a client, established in trust and competence.
  • Required Experience

  • Master's degree in related field required.
  • 5+ years of agency experience required.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Digital prowess : on the forefront of the latest technology and digital landscape, including mobile, social, and media and everything in between.
  • Proven expertise in brand positioning, insight generation, and creative brief writing.
  • Cultural curiosity : tapped into what is going on, what people are doing, liking, joining, sharing and more importantly, why.
  • Experience in research methodologies, insight development, user experience planning, content strategy, social media strategy, mobile, web, or social analytics / reporting.
  • Understanding of various qualitative and quantitative research methods and platforms.
  • Knowledge of leading workshops and facilitating brainstorming sessions.
